There’s little doubt I’ve lived a\u00a0charmed life for which I’m grateful.<\/p>\n

Mostly it’s been real good.
\nAnd the few bad\u00a0things weren’t\u00a0go to jail material.<\/p>\n

I’ve had\u00a0eight\u00a0different careers which should give you some idea of how long I have been working.
\nLife has not been boring.<\/p>\n

I know a lot of stuff, most of it worthless.
\nBut I’m fun to have at a party after a beer or two.<\/p>\n

Over the years I’ve\u00a0been honored to be the recipient of\u00a0a number of awards.<\/p>\n

Some because I showed up sober and fit for work.
\nSome because I screwed up and actually did a good job.
\nSome because I was just standing around when they were handed out.<\/p>\n

Regardless, all are appreciated and a few were suitable for framing.<\/p>\n

They\u00a0went on my I Love Me<\/em> wall.<\/p>\n

Everyone should\u00a0have one.<\/p>\n

Whenever you’re feeling worthless and ugly, which I’m sure is rare,\u00a0cruise by all that stuff hanging on the\u00a0wall and instantly feel wonderful again.<\/p>\n

But back to me…<\/p>\n

Friday a government agency\u00a0presented me with the best\u00a0yet.<\/p>\n

I’m the only one in the State of Hawaii to have been given this particular one.<\/p>\n

Truly one-in-a-million.
\nHow many can say that?<\/p>\n

It’s not on my wall but it goes with me almost everywhere to proclaim my specialness to the world at large.<\/p>\n

The wife says it suits me perfectly.
\nApparently the government agrees.
\n\"Grump<\/a>Is this great or what?<\/p>\n
