Since last Sunday was Mother’s Day, I gave some thought to how my lovely bride is turning into her mother.<\/p>\n

It’s as good thing because her mom was a neat lady.<\/p>\n

Since I’m married, I can be considered an expert on this transformation.<\/p>\n

I share this because it happens to all wives.
\nYou should be ready because tt’s just a matter of when.<\/p>\n

Here’s what to look out for:<\/p>\n

She signs her text messages.
\n\"bloomers\"<\/a>Sends thank-you notes.
\nTakes a jacket, just in case.
\nSensible undergarments.
\nHalf-slips.
\nBras that offer a lot of \u201csupport.\u201d
\nJewelry made by a child even if it is terrible.
\nEating half of a cookie but then deciding to also eat the other half.
\nYogurt.
\n\"doggie<\/a>Making food just so you can have the leftovers.
\nGetting a doggie bag at a restaurant even when there\u2019s basically nothing left.
\nAnything from Ross.
\nAnything from Bed, Bath and Beyond.
\nScented candles, but rarely lights them.
\n\"Kitchen<\/a>Kitchen herb gardens.
\nDriving other people places.
\nCalling someone just to say hi.
\nCutting things out of newspapers and magazines.
\nGiving those clippings to people who she thinks would appreciate them.
\nCoupons.
\nBragging about how little she spent on something.
\nFacebook, yes.
\nTwitter, not really.
\nSaving mementos and filling every available space with them.
\nCovering every wall with pictures but hating clutter.
\nShowing people pictures of her pets\/children\/plants.
\nReality TV.
\nWorrying.<\/p>\n

\nSay hi to mom.<\/p>\n
