Through a quirk in the space-time continuum, I found myself with some idle time, again,\u00a0so I started pondering some important stuff.<\/p>\n

There are some universal truths that eventually become evident when you get old and it’s too late to utilize them to make any difference in your life.<\/p>\n

Let’s run through the list, shall we?<\/p>\n

If God had wanted me to touch my toes, he would have put them on my knees.<\/p>\n

\"mattress-Sale-sized\"<\/a>There is rarely a day that mattresses are not on sale.<\/p>\n

Pushing the button on a cross walk light a million times does nothing.<\/p>\n

Stupidity is far more fascinating than intelligence.
\nAfter all, intelligence has its limits.<\/p>\n

Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy.<\/p>\n

In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: It goes on.<\/p>\n

The more people I meet, the more I like my dog.<\/p>\n

\"Drunk-Tank-sized\"<\/a>A good friend will bail you out of jail.
\nA true friend will be sitting next to you saying, “Wow, what a night.”<\/p>\n

Then there are the questions I have not found the answers to, yet.<\/p>\n

Since bread is square, then why is sandwich meat round?<\/p>\n

When does it stop being partly cloudy and start being partly sunny?<\/p>\n

How can something be “new” and “improved”?
\nIf it’s new, what was it improving on?<\/p>\n

How far east can I go before I’m heading west?<\/p>\n

As you see, I have a lot of work left to do.<\/p>\n

This is why old people get grumpy.
\nSo many questions – so little time.<\/p>\n
