I’m embarrassed to admit I did.<\/p>\n

Several times.
\nWell, maybe a few more than several.<\/p>\n

I was sitting around\u00a0letting my brain coast in neutral when that vision popped up.<\/p>\n

I plead raging hormones and the stupidity of youth.<\/p>\n

When you’re 17 it seemed to be a fun thing to do.<\/p>\n

Now I think of all the people sitting around staring at us.<\/p>\n

I wonder if the show we put on was better than the one on the screen.<\/p>\n

Got that vision in your brain now?<\/p>\n

I’m horrified about that whole thing.<\/p>\n

I wonder what her father would have thought if he knew.<\/p>\n

Did you ever get drunk at a young age and make an ass out of yourself?<\/p>\n

I’m embarrassed to admit I did.<\/p>\n

That horrified me and I hardly drank again.<\/p>\n

Things I did as a young guy make me wonder why I turned out as well as I did.
\nThat’s assuming I turned out well.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0partial list of\u00a0some of the missteps of my tender years…<\/p>\n

Necking in a movie theater.
\n\"leisure<\/a>Drinking too much and trying to walk home in broad daylight.
\nDrinking too much and trying to walk home at night.
\nDrinking too much and actually driving home.
\nMixing checks and stripes.
\nWearing a leisure suit. Once.
\nPretending once at a bar I was a brain surgeon.
\nActually getting the lady to believe it.<\/p>\n

I was 21 at the time.
\nWho was more stupid – me for trying it or her for believing it?<\/p>\n

I’m horrified at myself.
\nIt’s amazing the stupid things we did when we were younger.<\/p>\n

Don’t laugh.
\nI’m hanging myself out for ridicule because you know you have your own list and it’s probably just as bad.<\/p>\n

And you’re chicken if you don’t share.<\/p>\n
