Yes, I was quite\u00a0enlightened.<\/p>\n

Actually, no way I’d go through childbirth.<\/p>\n

Scientific studies years ago\u00a0kept saying it was true – and I’ll believe anything scientific.<\/p>\n

But some recent studies are taking that back, and they might be right.<\/p>\n

I always thought the wife was one of those braver-than-men types.<\/p>\n

Anyone that handles dog poop and catches cockroaches in her bare hands is a hero to me.<\/p>\n

But I was wrong.<\/p>\n

My lady is a wuss.
\nA wimp.
\nA pansy.<\/p>\n

Case in point…<\/p>\n

\"Paper<\/a>Everyone gets minor cuts and scrapes.
\nIt’s part of living.<\/p>\n

The wife doesn’t get a minor anything.
\nA paper cut becomes a 911 emergency.<\/p>\n

“Is it infected”
\n“Change my band-aid. I can’t look at it.”
\n“Are you sure it’s okay?”
\n“It hurts. Should I go to the emergency room”?
\n“What if I get it wet?”
\n“Do I need stitches?”
\n“What if it gets worse?”
\n“Am I going to die?”<\/p>\n

And that’s in the first 30 minutes.
\nAnd it goes on and on until it heals.<\/p>\n

\"All<\/a>I’ve busted bones and dripped blood all over the place.
\nJust give me a beer and it’ll be okay.<\/p>\n

I just don’t understand it.<\/p>\n

Grabbing a big roach with your bare hands is about the bravest thing in the world to me.<\/p>\n

Then there is this whole “My finger is going to fall off” thing.<\/p>\n
