Item one –<\/p>\n

There can be truth in a few words painted on something.
\nShort and to the point always trumps long-winded.<\/p>\n

Item two –<\/p>\n

The wife has a new coffee cup.
\nI suppose one of her girl friends gave it to her.<\/p>\n

Let’s tie all this together.<\/p>\n

\"Coffee<\/a>At first I thought the cup was for me.
\nThe saying is most appropriate.<\/p>\n

She says, “Nope, it’s mine.”<\/p>\n

I thought about that and it actually makes sense.<\/p>\n

Now I have to look at it every morning while she slurps her coffee.<\/p>\n

That’s called driving the message home.<\/p>\n

I’ve always believed that husbands are the bottom of the list.<\/p>\n

\nThen the girlfriends…
\nThen the dogs…
\nThen shopping…
\nThen her phone – connected to a girlfriend…
\nAnd back to shopping.<\/p>\n

At the bottom – the lowly husband.
\nThat’s me.<\/p>\n

And you – if you are a husband-type person.<\/p>\n

We do move up a number or two when the wife needs something to be done.<\/p>\n

Like changing a lightbulb or batteries in her camera.<\/p>\n

Then we slide back down again.<\/p>\n

I’m okay with that.
\nIt’s the way of the world and I’m not going to change her or the rules of nature.<\/p>\n

It’s like black holes and the speed of light.
\nAccept it for what it is and move on.<\/p>\n

Once in a while she lets us do something, like watch football, so we think we’re the boss around the house.<\/p>\n

We’re easy to fool.<\/p>\n

Women are wonderful.
\nGo do what you want anyway.<\/p>\n

Just don’t tell her.<\/p>\n

Kindly act upon it.<\/p>\n

Think of the years of pain and anguish I saved you.<\/p>\n

Don’t be grumpy.
\nThat’s my job.<\/p>\n
