The wife has this need.
\nYes, everyone has needs but this one is different.
\nShe needs to know where everyone is.<\/p>\n

I can go get something from the garage and she’ll say, “Where were you?”
\n“I was in the garage.”
\n“Oh, you didn’t say anything when you left.”<\/p>\n

\nThe garage is like 50 feet away.
\nIt’s not like I was off to Las Vegas for the weekend.<\/p>\n

Today I’m in the bathroom.
\nDoor is closed which usually means serious stuff is happening.<\/p>\n

She knocks (almost hammers) on the door.
\n“Whatcha doing?”<\/p>\n

Now seriously, what the hell would anyone be doing in the bathroom?
\nI certainly am not giving the car a tune-up.<\/p>\n

She can head down the hallway and as she passes my office says, “I’m going to take a shower.”
\n“That’s nice.”
\nDo I really need to know that?
\nIt’s not like she’s going to Macys for some power shopping.<\/p>\n

I don’t get it.
\nThat’s why I’m grumpy.<\/p>\n
