<\/a>I almost feel a bit violated its yanked away so quickly.<\/p>\nNow everyone’s attention turns to New Years, not that it’s any great thing more than a new date and a day off.<\/p>\n
It will be the Year of the Horse by the way.
\nMuch better than The Year of the Rat.<\/p>\n
Yeah, it’s supposed to symbolize a new beginning – but really, every day should be that.<\/p>\n
People ask me…
\n“Have you made any New Years resolutions?”
\n“Just be happy.”<\/p>\n
“How about quit smoking?”
\n“Nope, I doubt that would happen.”<\/p>\n
“Lose some weight?”
\n“I resolve to do that every day.”<\/p>\n
“Be nicer to people?”
\n“People tell me I’m pretty nice as it is.”<\/p>\n
The wife may argue that, but I can’t win them all so I don’t worry about it.<\/p>\n
“So you have nothing you want to improve on?”
\n“I try to improve and be better every day, not just once a year.”<\/p>\n
But since so many\u00a0insist, here’s something to think about for\u00a0the New Year…<\/p>\n
Life is what it is.
\nWe can change it, we can make our lot better.<\/p>\n
Just work up the courage and do it.<\/p>\n
Trying and not being successful is not failure.
\nSuccess comes from struggles, attempts and defeats.<\/p>\n
Failure comes from doing nothing.<\/p>\n
